Leclerc Kebec II Loom
< previous Leclerc loom                                                                                                      next Leclerc loom >
We're pleased to offer you the Leclerc Kebec II four shaft counterbalance-type hand weaving loom in weaving widths of 100", 120", and 168".  This is a great loom for a team of two weavers to produce wide blankets, tablecloths, draperies, coverlets, bedspreads, and rugs.  The Kebec II may also be operated by one person with the optional flying shuttle beater.

What is Included

Each loom will include two sets of six treadles, one steel reed (12 dents/inch), 12 1/2" wire heddles, two boat shuttles, one dozen plastic bobbins, one reed and heddle hook, two lease sticks, four warp rods, two cords, two aprons, assembly instructions, and a copy of the book "Warp and Weave" by Robert Leclerc.

Weaving Width/Shaft Options & Additional Accessories

The Kebec II four shaft counterbalance loom is available in three weaving widths:

100" weaving width ($7,995, #1003-0000)
120" weaving width ($9,500, #1004-0000)
168" weaving width (call for quote)

Due to the size of the Kebec II loom a shipping charge applies to delivery.  Please contact us with the width you wish to purchase and your address for a quote and invoice.

Please contact us before you place your order if you would like your Kebec II loom to come with  inserted eye or texsolv heddles, additional reeds, shuttles, sectional warping, a flying shuttle beater, and a bench.  Additional details are available in the Leclerc catalog (link will open in a separate window).  The stock photos on this page may depict alternative shaft and treadle configurations and accessories for illustrative purposes.

Shipping & Delivery

Your loom will be shipped directly from Leclerc to your continental U.S. (lower 48 states) address via ground service.  Due to the size of the Kebec II loom, there is an additional shipping charge for delivery to physical street addresses in this area.  We'll quote the shipping charge when we have your address and the weaving width of the loom you're ordering, then invoice you for it.  Turnaround is good; however, orders placed during Leclerc's summer and holiday breaks or while they (or we) are exhibiting at trade shows may take a bit longer.  If time is critical for you, kindly contact us before placing your order and request an estimated delivery date.  We are required to collect sales tax on shipments to Virginia addresses.

Assembly

Your loom will arrive partially disassembled for easier handling, with detailed assembly instructions.  If you are handy, you should have no problems assembling your loom.  Otherwise, enlist the assistance of a friend.  When in doubt, read the instructions.  If you are located in our region, we can provide hands on assistance for an hourly labor charge and travel mileage.

Warranty

Neither we nor Leclerc are able to accept returns.  Warranty service is provided by Leclerc.  Their policy is simple and straightforward:  "All Leclerc looms and accessories are guaranteed for one year, covering materials and workmanship. Parts are replaced free of charge upon proof of defect."

Please let us know how we may be of further assistance.  We appreciate your patronage of our independent, locally owned weaving and yarn shop, and thank you for referrals.
