Mosaic Knitting with Bob Walls (not currently scheduled).

If you can knit and purl, you can do mosaic knitting.  Just know that the only other technique you need to know besides knitting and purling is super-easy:  slipping stitches.  If you've put off color knitting because it looks too difficult, this will be a great introduction to two color knitting for you.  Mosaic knitting creates an almost woven textured piece.  In this class you'll learn to knit a simple Cowl or Scarf.  Both use the same basic instructions with the only difference being the Cast On and Bind Off methods.  It's your choice which piece you wish to tackle.  Again, there are only two techniques used in Mosaic knitting:  knit/purl and slip.  Preregistration required.  $30 tuition plus materials.

Skill Level:
  beginner to advanced.
Materials
:  2 skeins DK or Worsted weight yarn in two colors (mark one "A" and one "B"); pattern, and 24" US 5 size circular needle.
